The horseback riding center enjoys  exceptional conditions:

  • It is located in the heart of the University of Paris Sud 11 science campus, in green and woody surroundings
  • The cavalry (24 horses) is adapted to all practitioners: from beginners to advanced (Gallop 7 level)
  • 325 riders enrolled in 2008
  • The riding center also accommodates privately owned horses (see horse boarding rates)
  • The recently renovated infrastructure includes: indoor and outdoor arenas, a club house, two riding stables, a round pen, two paddocks
  • The highly skilled staff includes state-recognized instructors. This dynamic team teaches classes and manages leisure activities, horseback riding competitions and theme training sessions.

The offer is therefore multi-faceted, from initiation to proficiency and competition in a safe, friendly, professional environment.

Courses and leisure activities

Completed courses

Students of the university can practice horseback riding in the framework of credits to be completed and as a bachelor's or master's degree minor in the UFR STAPS.

Free leisure practice offer:

  1. Physical activities include: group courses, private tuition, package teaching, internships during school breaks
  2. Levels of practice include: initiation to Gallop 7, and technical training prior to competition
  3. Public concerned : general public from age 12

Equestrian events

  • Competition: year round club competitions including:jumping, equifun, dressage.
  • First horseback riding open days.
  • Training courses with experienced instructors.
